Biography<\/strong>
Obaida Farajalla is a Jordanian journalist and media executive whose work bridges education, public discourse, and civic reform. As the founding CEO of the Arab Association for Enlightened Muslim Educators (AAEME)<\/strong>, he played a pivotal role in establishing the Association\u2019s institutional framework, launching its programs, and building a regional coalition of educators, researchers, and civil society partners. Under his leadership (2016\u20132019), AAEME convened high-profile annual forums in Amman, Tunis, and Rabat<\/strong>, expanded member networks across MENA, and designed media\/dialogue initiatives that directly challenged obscurantist, takfiri, and extremist readings of religion<\/strong> while promoting a contemporary, enlightened interpretation<\/strong> rooted in the ethical core of Arab-Islamic culture.
